George Street and the Drive is a local band based in Boulder, Colorado, performing as a trio of guitar, bass and drums. It performs a wide variety of music for audiences to both dance and sit back and enjoy. The Corona Collective is a roundtable of singers, writers and musicians emerging in the Metro Denver area.  Jim Love started this group in Colorado, modeling it on his 'the loop' in Boston that held sway at the Somerville Armory for many sessions during 2012-2013.  The Collective's cross currents of  instruments and voices creates a textured palette of influences and musical perspectives that are brought forth via collaborative combos of its members throughout the show.

The duo belt out rootsy, jazz-indebted indie rock.  Weege marries smoky 50’s jazz with wild 70’s rock, while Slater overlays a smooth, melodic croon with laconic delivery and blue-collar beat poetry. Slater’s genre-hopping guitar playing draws from screaming blues originals like Buddy Guy and Albert King, but with a twist of Bert Jansch and Wes Montgomery.
